Dear Family and Friends,Hey, How is it going? Sound like you guys had a good week. Well tell dad he doesn't have to go to a doctor in mexico to get worms he could probably just drink the water, it is free. Well I will keep him in my prayers. Well try not to get mad at hannah all she was doing was trying to bring you breakfast in bed, she is a charitable poodle. Well it sounds like Matt had a good mission I knew he would. He was so excited to leave, and it kinda seems weird that he is already home. It seems like he just left not too long ago. Well this week has been a hard week, every appointment we had fell through so it was kind of sad. Jenny has been avoiding us, and Pedro canceled on us 3 times this week. On the bright side we did get a few potentials this week. We pretty much just tracted all week. This week we did have a ward christmas party, it was kind of fun. They served lasagna at the party, and after they had tons of left over, so they sent us home with a big pan full. This was nice because you know I love lasagna. Well as far as a call on Christmas goes here is my phone number...9. We are allowed to call ahead of time to setup our calls, so if you call me on Christmas Eve around 7pm we can setup a time to call on Christmas Day. If that is not going to work let me know by next Monday. Well thanks for sending the christmas package. Tell Phil and Grandma Sheri both thanks for the money. I will probably write them later. Well take care!Love Elder Reid

Dear Family and Friends,

Hey How is it going? Sounds like thing are going good in Lund. Well to answer your questions I have a 36 waist and I haven't got any taller and my shirts still fit pretty good so if you got me the same size that would be fine. Well yesterday at dinner we had dinner with the Payne family, and their little boy had a fit about not getting a third serving of whip cream on his pie. He threw one of the biggest fits I have ever seen and all I could think about was if I were to do that at dinner when we had company, I know dad would have spanked me right there in front of everyone. This kid's parents just let him go. Well we gave Jenny a baptismal date this week for the January 2nd, and she accepted but she didn't come to church, which is kind of a bummer. Pedro hasn't accepted a baptismal date yet but he said he would think about it. We didn't get to go to the Christmas Devotional this week because we had to have an investigator or we weren't allowed to go. well I don't have a lot of time to email today besause the computers by our apartment complex wouldn't work so we had to go to the community center downtown so talk to you later.

Love,
Elder Reid

Thanksgiving

Dear Family and Friends

Hey, How is it going? Things here are going great, and Thanksgiving wasn't too bad. We had plenty of food. We had an investigator that bought us some food at Wal-Mart the other day, and we also have a bunch of left overs from Thanksgiving. Plus the December dinner calender is already full, and December hasn't even started yet. For Thanksgiving we went over to the MacKarren's house and they had quite a feast. Then after we played Yahtzee and ate pie. It was fun. We also had district meeting on Thanksgiving. It was a good Thanksgiving. Well the most exciting thing that happened this week was that we got a firm baptismal commitment for a girl named Jenny. We gave her a Book of Mormon a month ago and she has already read it, and is rereading it. She told us she has never felt so enlightened in her entire life. It is definitely going good here, if all goes well we will have 2 baptisms this month. The other baptism is a guy named Pedro who has been investigating for a long time, and I think he is finally ready. Well I am glad you liked the pictures. The new suite I got was from Caleb the guy who just got baptized. He had a bunch of suites that were too big for him and they fit me just right. The only problem is that they are not very dark and conservative, so I can only wear them on p-day. Well you asked me what I would want or need for Christmas, and I would really like a black suite not solid black but with some pin stripes or something would be cool. I also would like some white shirts both long sleeve and short but mainly long because my white shirt are becoming a little less white everyday. I really need some socks too. I guess the only other things I would like is some more music because I get tired of my Cd's really fast but it is definitely not a priority and ties never hurt. Well white shirts and socks are the main thing I can get by without the other stuff. Well thanks for everything. Talk to you later.
